Libby and Steve got the Bears Unlimited website up and running this weekend. It is agreat looking and informative site.
I am especially proud of our school program and the Attu series of books. These will help bring environmental education back to schools in a unbiased way. No agendas, just learning about bears froma bear. Great fun and in the schools that have seen the program it worked well. Attu’s first new book in the series is ready to print. Just waiting to get some funding to do this one. Hopefully I will have 2 ready before I leave on expedition.
Expedition planning is jsut about complete. I am sure that there will be a little tweeking as we get closer, ground conditions and timing will change I am sure. The bears are there waiting for us to arrive. Yeah right. It will be a great way to collect real time data on the bears, habitat and climate. Plus it will be one tough expedition. Lots of fun to.
